18. POSSESSIVENESS!

Sunlight poured molten gold through lace curtains, bathing the room in honeyed warmth that danced dust-motes lazy air, but Tanirika stirred blind to its caress—eyes gritty, rubbing sleep-fog slow as she bolted upright, gaze snagging clock's accusatory blink: 12:00 PM. Heart lurched betrayal sharp—noon?!—bed abandoned frantic, tresses wild tangle framing flushed face, yesterday's saree draped pristine chair mocking her disarray, morning's sacred ritual shattered irreparable. Panic surged tidal: Mother always said... a woman should wake up early... discipline... routine... will I ever wake up on time? Guilt clawed visceral—dutiful daughter unraveling, self-worth fracturing under habit's iron whip, breaths shallow racing as slippers hunted hasty.

I'm driven to succeed as a novelist to silence skeptics, including my brother and relatives, who believe writing is a waste of time. I'm determined to publish my work in hardcover, and with your support, I can turn this vision into a reality. Earning a steady income from my writing will be a crucial step towards achieving my goals and validating my passion.
